The Perez Annual Family Tamalada!

The girls and I had a great time!  It was our first time participating. Rey and his cousin Zach hung out at our house with Art while three generations of Perez women (along with those of us married in!) worked hard at making tasty tamales at Aunt Irene's! There were clearly over 15 sets of hands working!  It's an all day affair with lots of work, fun, and laughs!  Carrying on Grandma Susie's Christmas season tradition!  Thank you, Grandma Susie!  We love you!
Yummy goodies during break time! ;)
The "sacred section"!  This is where the tamales get filled and rolled....it takes talent! :)
Some of Grandma Susie's hard working daughters....from left Aunt Carrie, our Grandma Chela (Art's mom, my mother in law), Aunt Cleo, and Aunt Irene.

Cousins working side by side.  Cousin Sierra :)
Cousins taking breaks side by side! :D
Some of Grandma Susie's kids....from left Aunt Irene, our Grandma Chela, Uncle Wally, Aunt Carrie, Uncle Gilbert, Aunt Olga, and Aunt Cleo!  Carrying on the tradition and passing it down! :)
